Valentine's Day
My second Make Over Monday is dedicated to Valentine's Day. I started from a dataset released for this social data experiment, created with data of the National Retail Foundation. The dataset looks at how much do Americans spend at Valentine's Day.
I tried a new visual metaphor for this dataviz. Two roses, one red for the people Americans spend for, one blue for the favorite gifts. On the leaf there are written the year to which the data relate.
